There are almost no more curfews. Below you will find information around the Corona situation, the vaccination strategy and the impact of the pandemic on life, travel and the economy.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Health (figures as of 28 November 2021)<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There are currently <strong>2.693 active cases<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>R-value<\/strong> is 0,86.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>7-day incidence<\/strong> is 33.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Panama performs the same <strong>number of tests <\/strong>per capita as Germany.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The percentage of <strong>positive tests<\/strong> is currently 2 &#8211; 5% daily.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The<strong> intensive care beds<\/strong> have never been fully utilized.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Corona vaccination<\/strong> (90% Biontech\/Pfizer und 10% AstraZeneca) started in Panama in January. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Almost 90%<\/strong> of those over 12 are <strong>fully vaccinated<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no<\/span> mandatory vaccination<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>graph<\/strong> shows the weekly trend (March 20 &#8211; Nov 21) of new infections (bars) and the test positive rate (curve \/ <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.prensa.com\/sociedad\/data-studio-casos-de-coronavirus-covid-19-en-panama\/\" target=\"_blank\">data link<\/a>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"445\" height=\"189\" src=\"https:\/\/www.frapan-invest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Bildschirmfoto-2021-11-29-um-18.04.17-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6639\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.frapan-invest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Bildschirmfoto-2021-11-29-um-18.04.17-1.png 445w, https:\/\/www.frapan-invest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Bildschirmfoto-2021-11-29-um-18.04.17-1-300x127.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 445px) 100vw, 445px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Economy<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All sectors of the economy are open.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current estimates predict <strong>economic growth<\/strong> <strong>of +12% in 2021<\/strong> (2020: -17%).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Life in Panama<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In Panama City and in almost all other regions, there are currently <strong>no longer any curfew restrictions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is still a <strong>mask requirement<\/strong>, which also applies outdoors.
